You no doubt often find yourself needing to make text bold in your documents. In fact, I’m quite confident it’s the most common formatting most people apply to text.
Given this, it’s a good idea to commit the following shortcut key to memory. That way, you won’t need to navigate the ribbon each time you want to apply bold formatting to text.
Instead, simply select the relevant text, and use the shortcut key Ctrl+B to make the text bold.
